Love is a battlefield

The edition of the 17th of january just finished and i'm still shaking from all the fun we had today.
First, the stands were really cool, and I had to call my mum several times to avoid spending my whole room rent on you know what (clothes, shoes, glasses, etc.).
There was vegan food, meat food, cakes, chai teas, glühwein, everything we needed to be happy. And i tell you something, when you're stuck because of a snowstorm, it's a good idea to be in the HBC filled with awesome stuff to look at, listen to and smell. I think in case there's a nuclear war, we should do an emergency Sunday Extraordinaire just to live our last minutes in bliss.

For once, i'll write comments under the pictures, to guide you around the event. Let's go gang!

Sunday 10th December

Brrrr! It's cold in here!
I don't really remember where this line is coming from, but it was indeed a great movie. If you know, tell me i'll offer you champagne on the next Sunday.
The 10th was a cloudy day, and Natasha went as usually to the Alexanderplatz to get her weekly amount of rejoyment to fill her up for the week to come.
Yes, I could have been the Danielle Steel of Berlin.

We'll have a AIR BAND Contest in february. It's when you air-perform the song of your choice. You kids can win 100€ in cash and kisses form Magritte Jaco and Jean-Joseph. Awesome, isn't it? For infos, send an email natürlich.

The First Sunday of 2010

It was a very beautiful sunday on Alexanderplatz and we spent most of our days bathing in the sun lying on the transats of the .HBC... Aaaah! Was it quiet and relaxing after the extatic Kings and Queens Sylvester Party.
DJ aMinus started the day with his awesome post-disco, transporting us to the heavens of dance. Then, after of course a technical interuption of sound, Susanna Berivan took the mike and kept the audience in the palm of her hands for her whole show.
Em//e from the famous Tilt Parties finished the day getting everyone ready for a last post after party before the real beginning of the year.

There was not a lot of sellers, unfortunatly, but everyone sold really well!

Here are some pictures of the event:

20th december, Snowy!

Oh God!
It was so cold last sunday at Sunday Extraordinaire it fell even better to be inside with warm glühwein, lovely sellers and the Wonderful Magritte Jaco! The Heroes Café crew were our special guests and we were delighted by their amazing cookies and selection of books.
Lorenzo Lasselini was in charge of the reception and received a visit from Dr. Love.
Mary and The Baby Cheeses were superb throwing their phantastic pop trublion via mini drum kit and high pitch voice. Damn it she nearly broke the windows, it was beautiful!

The next one will be on the 3rd of January. See you there!

sunday 6th december

Thanks to everyone, it was such a lovely day!
The first edition brought together fashion designers, second-hand stands, beautiful cup cakes, wonderful jewellery or fine pictures.
Magritte Jaco illuminated our day with her squeleton outfit because, that's right, nothing ever lasts, and Jemek made us swing badly. Of course, the weather was shitty outside, but who cares when we're tanning under the neons?
Here, the pics:
